Outdoor Travel Adventures (OTA) is a full service adventure travel company dedicated to arranging quality outdoor experiences for individuals, groups and corporate teams. We seek to match our customers' travel goals with an experience that is right for them.

Our goal is to provide life enhancing travel experiences, complemented by superior customer service and an unwavering commitment to quality. Our knowledge and innovative style embrace health, wellness, fun and an overall respect for the environment.

Bios

Roseann Iovine, President & Founder
Roseann has spent her entire career in the tourism industry. She spent 15 years with British Airways, holding a variety of senior positions in sales, marketing and strategic planning. Roseann has appeared on CNN, Fox News and has been a guest lecturer at the prestigious Wharton School of Business, San Diego State University and several adventure tourism conferences. Roseann has been a consultant to the travel industry consulting on a wide range of topics related to adventure travel and the development of sustainable tourism. She enjoys kayaking, mountain biking and hiking.

Wendy Pacofsky, VP Sales & Marketing
Wendy spent 4 years at BCT Scenic Walking, dedicating herself to the sales & marketing of European hiking holidays. During this time, she explored much of Europe by foot. Wendy has a degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego and also worked in London for the State of California. She enjoys surfing, kayaking, biking, and hiking, and instructs scuba diving for Ocean Enterprises in San Diego. Wendy is a dive travel specialist and has traveled to many exotic dive locations around the world.

Joanna Culley, Adventure Consultant
Joanna graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Journalism. Her interest in tourism began while working as a tour manager for Royal Celebrity Tours in Alaska. She has also spent time working in southern Africa with various non-profit organizations. In her free time she enjoys hiking, snowboarding, kayaking and mountain biking.

Company History

Outdoor Travel Adventures was formed in 1996 by Roseann Iovine. The company developed out of her passion for the outdoors and her love of travel. Before the explosion of adventure travel websites, Roseann sought to fill a void in the industry by sharing personal travel experiences and first hand knowledge of destinations.

The OTA team personally interacts with over 200 operators to ensure reliable and exciting adventure products for their clients. Outdoor Travel Adventures has created adventure product lines for Qantas Vacations to Australia and New Zealand and has formed a travel alliance with San Diego Travel Group, one of the country’s largest and most respected travel companies.
